Risk Assessment

The Fire Precautions Workplace Act stipulates that a fire risk assessment is carried out and that relevant records are made on all premises with 5 or more employees. Radius Fire Safety Systems Ltd will provide a Fire Risk Assessment package suitable for you’re building to comply with Regulation 3 (1) of the Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999 and Regulation 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1999 at a cost from – £275.00 plus VAT.

The Fire Risk Assessment package that will be provided is generally divided into the following categories:

  • Means of Escape
  • Review Procedures
  • Staff / People at Risk

  • Blocks of Flats – £275.00 to £450.00

  • Garages – £275.00 to £400.00

The Package costs exclude VAT @20% and make no allowance for Travel costs to the premises assessed. The travel costs are under normal circumstances levied at .25 per mile or as per any invoiced public transport services such as train services. Should any Fire System Design & Installation be required then a Plan of the Premises will if possible be required from the client.

A Fire logbook will also be provided at no additional charge on completion (normally £25.00). This log book enables the building manager to keep a current record of all fire related information and additional information such as Emergency Lighting and Fire Fighting testing records as legally required in line with current legislation.
